The Great Lakes Social Studies Journal (GLSSJ) features practical and research articles on social studies instructional practices, with a particular focus on inquiry. Articles will feature interactive links, videos, and images to bring the practices and research to life. The Michigan Council for the Social Studies launched the GLSSJ in 2021, but has now expanded to include other Great Lakes states—Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
