Abstract
Donne Buck (1934-2023) was a New Zealand-born pioneer of British adventure play. He recorded his work, including on some of the earliest London playgrounds, in exquisite detail, resulting in an exceptional archive of his achievements now held by the V&A Museum. This article offers a brief summary of his career as a play practitioner and highlights his influence on the field of playwork.
