Abstract

Join as we share with you this exciting workflow that will create brief bibliographic records while optimizing student and staff resources. The project involves Excel, MarcEdit, and Innovative Table Loaders and makes records accessible through the ILS at BGSU. We will briefly discuss the Cataloging Hidden Special Collections and Archives grant from the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR) which will allow us to catalog 64,000+ 45 rpm records in the next three years. We will demonstrate and thoroughly examine the workflow that our Music Catalog/Metadata Librarian and our ILS coordinator developed.
