On Twitter, #gradstudentproblems collects funny stories and relates the trauma students experience in academia. How do graduate students cope when manageable challenges become unmanageable? In this presentation, I tell my story and ask the audience to reflect on theirs. Together, we will imagine ways to foster a more supportive environment.
