Finding Balance: The Integration of Running and Yoga
Abstract
This is an online course about finding the balance between running and yoga. One's life craves balance as this balance helps one to relax, recover, and connect with oneself. Yoga provides the perfect balance for a runner. It helps one's physical body and mind, which are two critical components for a runner. This course was created through research on yoga for runners. The course is broken into four modules: relation of yoga and running, physiological benefits, psychological benefits, and application of yoga into one's life. The goal of this course is to educate runners on the origin, benefits, and effects of yoga in order to help one live a happy and healthy life.
