Description
This presentation will be based on a research project I conducted through the McNair Scholars Program. I looked into the media representation of the Emmett Till trial in the 20th century. This project is a qualitative analysis. I looked into newspaper articles from 1955 from all over the country. I was able to make conclusions about the news coverage I found. I have a power point presentation with a complete analysis of the articles I found organized by topic/purpose. This project includes a literature review, analysis, conclusion, limitations, discussion and ideas for further research.
