Abstract
Psychomotor skills are considered a foundational block for nursing education, yet the approach to teaching these skills varies from program to program.
The goal of this quality improvement project is evaluation of the effects of a systematic change in the method of instructing nursing students in psychomotor skills. The hypothesis is that the use of Deliberate Practice for instruction will promote long-term skill proficiency and retention.
