Abstract
Readers are asked to review recently published or classic books in education and research. In his review of Dismantling Desegregation, Watras acknowledges the authors’ contribution to the discussion of urban education but challenges their indirect approach to addressing abstract considerations under-lying the complex issue of racial integration in schools and communities.
