Abstract
Imad al-Taha describes his experience growing up, learning, and performing on violin in Iraq under a period of sanction and war. He later moves to Dubai, a city that increasingly becomes a regional center for the music industry during his time living there. This conversation concludes with al-Taha's immigration to the United States and his move from Utica, NY to Columbus, OH.
