Monitor
The Monitor is an official publication of Bowling Green State University that was written by the university's Marketing and Communications Department (formerly known as the News Service) for faculty and staff. The newsletter covers various university related topics, including policy announcements, activities of various committees and governance bodies, the actions of the university president and the Board of Trustees, and other significant events related to the university's academic community.
The Monitor was first published in 1973 as a monthly newsletter until 1976, when publication was suspended. In April of 1978, publication resumed on a bi-weekly basis. From 1981 forward, it was published on a weekly basis. This digitized collection includes every volume and issue of the newsletter, from 1973-2011. Each issue may be downloaded as an Adobe PDF and may be searched individually by year and date.
