Abstract

This project is a children's story about anti-bullying aimed at an audience of fourth or fifth grade students. The intent of the project is to present students with a relatable account of the negative and destructive effects bullying can have on those involved. Ideally, the book would be read and thought through as a class, and then expanded upon as part of a larger unit on bullying/anti-bullying. It is for this reason that I also included discussion questions and extension activities at the end of the text to facilitate post-reading discussions.
