Abstract
Comprehensive sexual education is key to avoid the exploitation of young children. The primary methods to avoid Child Sexual Abuse or CSA include comprehensive sexual education, picture books, and teaching “red flag” behavior. Many children end up suffering from CSA, so keeping adults and children informed on the dangers is key to preventing it from ever occurring. Family members, neighbors and friends are the individuals who are committing these acts of violence towards children and many are under the impression that it is solely, “the man in the van” (King K. 2023). This literary analysis will delve deep into the methods of education and ways to discuss these issues with children in a developmentally appropriate way.
