Abstract
In this episode, host Anna McCray sits down again to speak with Dr. Thomas Edge, associate professor in Bowling Green State University's Department of Ethnic Studies. Dr. Edge, a New Jersey native, has taught at Bowling Green State University since 2011. He previously held positions at Northwestern University, Trinity College, and Elms College, and earned his Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2008, where he wrote a biography of Mordecai Wyatt Johnson, Howard University’s first Black president. In today’s episode, they discuss the history and implications of the Voting Rights Act.
