Icebreakers and Anxiety

Abstract

This project is based on a personal experience of feeling anxious during icebreakers. It is also incorporated the idea of shyness and sociability and related these to anxiety in general and during icebreakers. A survey was created with questions based on a previous survey, common symptoms of anxiety, and other personal symptoms with anxiety during icebreakers. The survey was distributed among students at one college. The results of the survey were analyze using various functions on a spreadsheet to give each respondent an identity and to organize the data in a fashion suitable for graphs and charts. The result do show a relationship between shyness, sociability, and anxiety.
