"To Be a Friend to Animals" Children's Book Reading and Discussion

Abstract

The author describes a project in which she created a book for children discussing animal rights and vegetarianism. She then discusses her experience trying to publicize the book at various local venues. Her ultimate goal was to have a book reading in which children and adults could discuss issues related to animal rights.
