Abstract
Medical laboratory science is an important part of health care. There is currently a need for trained medical laboratory scientists. However, many students may not beware of the field or the requirements to become a medical laboratory scientist. This project was created to address this issue. The field of medical laboratory science was presented to a group of Bowling Green High School students. The presentation was designed to promote both the field of medical laboratory science and Bowling Green State University’s medical laboratory science program. The presentation consisted of a slideshow, brochure and activity. The project also includes a reflection on the process and presentation.
