Abstract
In February of 2022, Dr. John Sampen (saxophone) and Dr. Dan Piccolo (percussion) premiered a major new composition by Pulitzer Prize Winner Aaron Kernis titled "8,632 Places in New York City." The piece was premiered on Piccolo's recital and then presented again at the Toledo Museum of Art on February 20, 2022.
