The School of Art at Bowling Green State University embraces the dialog between progressive and critical reflection, and craft-based practices, serving as a catalyst for individual and cultural growth by fostering discourse, action, collaboration and creativity. The community supports students and faculty to study and produce art within an interdisciplinary perspective that is historically and culturally informed, and responsive to contemporary social, environmental and ethical issues. The School of Art has been accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design since 1984.
