Abstract

Examines Nazi ideology and focuses on the reasons why the Nazis were successful in coming to power. The author states that the Nazis' rise to power was based on many factors including citizens' dissatisfaction with the government, Nazis' having new or at least what appeared to be new ideas and strong leadership. Also examines the theories of historian Theodore Abel.
