HIST 4800 is the capstone research seminar for all History majors at BGSU. Each section of HIST 4800 focuses on a specific historical topic. Students read articles and books in common and also do independent research on a project that relates to the topic. Students produce a 20-page work of original research that rests on a strong base of primary sources and engages the current scholarship on the topic.
